Dear friends and family members November 17th has been a very trying and sad day for my husband & I. We learned a little after noon today that he has been denied by the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals. I was able to see him and give him the news. He is understandably shaken but took it very well. He says this is not the end and we have a mountain to climb but we'll climb it together. Please keep Greg in your prayers. He's a wonderful, innocent man. We must stay strong and united as family and friends to support him to whatever end we face. I expected he'd be upset and the visit would be horrible Rather than that it was sad but we talked of God (he finally got me to understand the Trinity!) and Faith. We discussed a few practical things but all in all it was a wonderful visit between a husband and wife. He's strong and he has Faith which comes through his strong belief in our Lord. We ask for your prayers and support through the next few months. I was told by the attorney that he has 90 days to file an appeal with the Supreme Court, and he doesn't expect an execution date to be set until after that ruling if it is negative. He also said there are cases sitting before the court now that can hold Greg's case up because of similarities. (Crawford) Step by step, day by day - "If God Brings You To It, He Will Bring You Through It" - we have to remember that and be strong for our Greg. Love to all, Connie
